• Highest quality knitted “sock” style hoods that provide protection from flash fire hazards with added 2-ply construction for thermal insulation in cold weather conditions
• Nomex® protective barrier carbonizes and thickens when exposed to the intense heat of today’s fires. This increases the protective barrier to minimize burn injury. Stays supple and flexible till it’s cool, which gives you valuable extra secondsof protection when needed most
• Garments made of Nomex® are also durable, lasting on average two to three times longer than other standard protective fabrics
• Lenzing FR® is a specialty viscose fiber, is flame resistant, andnaturally derived from wood. It offers heat and flame protection and it’s unique thermal properties combined with permanent flame resistance makes it a “Heat Protection Fiber”.
